Creative Writing Workshop
Regi Claire
Regi Claire is a Swiss-Scottish novelist and short story writer twice shortlisted for a Saltire Scottish Book of the Year award and longlisted for MIND Book of the Year and the Edge Hill Prize for best collection. Her work has appeared in Best British Short Stories and numerous other anthologies and literary journals in the UK, Europe, Australia and the USA. She is an experienced creative writing tutor (National Galleries of Scotland, City Art Centre, Universities Scotland, Zurich University for Teacher Training etc) and a former Royal Literary Fund Fellow and RLF Lector for Reading Round Scotland.

This friendly new workshop series welcomes all writers, from beginners to already published authors.
An informal tour of Summerhall spaces is included (optional) – a great way to kickstart your imagination!
Format: tour, writing, feedback.
Anything goes: poetry, fiction, non-fiction.
Please note: I'm happy to look at work-in-progress.
I believe in facilitating rather than prescribing, but can suggest exercises if requested.
Series of four workshops: Tuesday evenings, April 17th, April 24th, May 1st, May 8th, 5:30pm - 8:00pm.
The total cost for the 4 sessions (10 hours) is £65, payable in advance.
12 places maximum, so be sure to book early!
