The inaugural Wells Theatre Festival will take place 13th and 15th July 2018.

 

From the Horse's Mouth will feature in the programme as a late night event on the Friday 13th at 11pm and as a brunch event 12.30pm on Sunday 15th hosted at the Globe Inn. The festival boasts as its patrons film, theatre, television and opera director Sir Richard Eyre and renowned actress and author Dame Judi Dench. The programme will include nationally celebrated South West companies alongside international touring companies leading workshops and performances

 

Featured Writers are Iona Lee (Scottish Slam Poetry Champion 2016) and Usaama Minhas (National Hammer & Tongue Slam Poetry Champion 2018)

 

All local wordsmiths of any genre (short story, rap, song, poetry and theatre) are welcome to sign up for a 5 minute spot at either event.
